Does Your cat similar to to be brushed?
My male will let me for just a few minutes afterwards he has had enough...and my feminine acts like she really doesn't like it..i thought adjectives cats liked it??
It really depends. Cat's are a lot like people- they resembling different things. One of my cats is very skittish, not letting me brush her for long, and the other is much, much lazier and LOVES it when i brush her.
I have 8 and some do and some don't. Cornbread absolutely loves it and get so riled up it's hard to brush him because he rolls around so much. Willie doesn't mind but gets tired of it pretty soon. Allie refuse to let me brush her without a fuss. If I didn't want to brush her I'm sure she'd be pleading for it! The rest are touch and go. It depends on their moods.

Answers: It could be your pulling hairs out. Is this a longhaired cat or a shorthaired cat? Longhaired cats should be COMBED - not brushed - as brushes do little to remove the loose hairs of the undercoat. A comb will considerately remove the undercoat hairs and leave the topcoat intact.
My Ragamuffin loves to be combed, my Exotic Shorthair and domestic love getting brushed, but Percy, my Persian, will tolerate his combing sessions (which happen every other day) for a minute or so and later start grumbling. He won't try to get away or hiss or bite - he'll just sit within going "Rrrrrrrr" like "MUST you do this?"
