Does your cat do this or is my cat only strange?
Every time I come out of the shower my cat will lick my hand to death. Its so cute! I dont know if shes putting her scent on me or whether she just likes the smell. Does anyone elses cat do this?

When I come out of the shower, I'll put my hair within my cats face, and she'll lick it! They probably just like the wet!
She may just like drinking the fresh water stale your skin. Maybe try and see if she likes drinking from a running faucet. If so, it might be good to carry a fountain for her. Just because, as cute as it is, it can get a little annoying sometimes. My cat's love their fountain! Other than that, she's not weird and delight in!

Oh, how cute! Sounds to me that she may be licking the water sour you or the natural salt taste on our skin. Don't knock it, my cat doesn't progress near me much, it breaks my heart, she's so independent. It doesn't seem to be anything to worry give or take a few. Enjoy!
Yep. My cat does the same thing but only when I come out of the shower. She'll lick my mitt and arm just like she's grooming me. Oh, and just the parts of my appendage and arm where I have hair that's why I utter she's grooming me. It really is cute. She doesn't lick my wife's hand or arm but then she has no hackle there. Guess I'm just lucky. lol
My dog does it to my foot everytime. I think it's just the water that make them do it. It may be the scent of whatever soap you use too. Nothing weird though.
Answers: aw how cute! She probably likes the nibble of whatever you used to wash with. When I put on a persuaded face cream, my one kittly loves to lick my face.it hurts like sand tabloid though :( I let him do it for a minute and then distract him some way.
She might be for a moment thirsty, that's a possibility too.but I'm sure you take obedient care of your little fuzzy!
I have 2 other little kittens that stand on guard at the shower when I use it like they are afraid the hose down will 'get' me .lol.

Mine waits for me to get out of the shower and then he go in and starts lapping, and he'll even drink out of the tub with me within it. He always has plenty of fresh water, he merely has a thing for tub water.
well look at it like this, when a cat gets damp they lick themselves till they are dry, perhaps your cat is doing this to you?

My cat also is fascinated with me after I shower. She tend to flip over on her back and holds my arm down and bites it (not hard) all over.

Yes, my one cat lick my hand whenever it's wet. I believe he thinks I'm dirty :)
It's quite normal manner for a cats to do this - one of mine has always done it..he'll purr away at indistinguishable time, very contented!
