Does your cat get through this?

I love my cat to death. He is my little hero. I notice he likes to get through bananas, grapes and prunes. I think it cutes and of course it seems stout. Is this okay for a cat to eat small bites every now and then? I never really thought going on for this being harmful until this morning. Yikes!
its fine as long as he doesnt get hold of fat, my cats eat anything
no i don't think its that harmful my cat loves bananas i only present them to her every once in a while. its kind of like general public ... enjoy certain foods in moderation.
Answers:    small bites of almost anything should be fine. Grapes are toxic to dogs, so I'd be leary of that (not abundantly of cats eat grapes, so I'm sure this hasn't been fully studied)

you want to hold on to treats to under 10% of a cat's daily diet or you risk throwing off his nutritional symmetry.

The general thought out there is human food is bad for cats, but fruitless is a relative term. you do risk not meeting their nutritional needs, but whether you are aware, and keep treats to a small portion of the cat's diet, it might actually be good for them. Before the advent of commercial foods, cats lived on table bits and pieces and hunting..
