Does your cat lick you contained by the obverse similar to a dog would?
My Spam licks my face like a dog. He's completely rotten. Whenever I pick him up he lick my face. Sometimes I wake up to him licking my face or ears. I know this is out of the ordinary cuz I've always owned cats. Maybe been owned by cats is more accurate. Does your cat lick you like this? Does he deduce I'm a litter mate? Why does he do this?
One of our cats does this to my husband and it is so cute.
He is her favorite human pet and she doesn't do it to anybody else in the family.

My cat always does that. Is your cat long-haired by any uncertainty? I noticed that long-haired cats have a different personality. They appear a bit more outgoing than the regal short-haired cats. Maybe it's wrong since I've only based it stale three or four cats, but it seems like something interesting to look into.

Spam LOL great name One of mine, Mocha the Ragamuffin will lick my face as long as I let her. Those tongues of theirs are VERY rough and I simply let her get a few licks LOL If I hold my facade up to my Exotic Shorthair, Penny she'll give me a kiss right on my lips or my nose and consequently blink her eyes like "love you". It's pretty damn cute.
yah my little kitty lick me in the face too.Sometimes i don't like her too because her little breath smells similar to her food YUCK!

when our cat was a kitten she used to like BARK like a dog. and growl approaching a dog too. Just randomly.
My cat doesn't lick my frontage, but she licks my arms like crazy and 'washes' the dogs as well.
Logan does this to me. I've never woken up to it though. He just does it when he's cleaning himself. I get a taste too. Maybe Spam is cleaning you.

My cat licks often when he's essential my face. I used to think it was because he like the taste of my lotion or face wash, but presently he really seems to do it all the time. Maybe he thinks I'm a dirty, dirty girl. I don't know. Maybe it's love. Kinky. What? I know, I know. I don't know.

yep, my 7 month old kitten Nite does that greatly. usually when he takes a bath, or sometimes when he's close to my facade. then sometimes he gets in a playful mood while he's bathing and turns around and lick the dog(if she's next to him, if not he'll lick one of his siblings, and if they're not around, he in recent times takes off like a rocket) it's unnatural. but anyway, yeah he does lick my face. but i've never woken up to it.

he might be playing around, he might be trying to give you a hip bath, or he might be showing you affection. if a cat licks you, you are officially factor of his family. you shouldn't push him away when he does this, he might take it within offense. from what you've said, your cat loves you.
