serve,i've found solitary kittens surrounded by my backyard?
well...not really abandoned.they are so small.i think they are singular a few days old.they haven't opened their eyes yet and they still enjoy their umbilical cords.So i left them alone for sometime.They were four.Now they are three.One died today and i'm worried.Their mother is never around apart from late at night,and they are constantly meowing throughout the day.I'm certain the one that died died of hunger.
what can i do?how can i help them?i don't want to take them absent from where their mother has out them.i just want to back them survive during the day.pls help.
contact a cat rescue in your area to see whether they will help.
It can be adjectives for a young female to disregard her FIRST litter, and this may be the case. Usually, contained by nature, the babies would die. If you would like to help you can bring to the fore them yourself. They sell formula for kittens at wal-mart and you can get a small bottle. Feed them yourself, or you can call someone to come win them. Remember though, if you begin to raise them as your own, they will grow attached, so be prepared for 3 up to date additions to the family.
Answers: Call your local animal shelter right away and ask what would be best to do. Don't touch the kittens unless they read aloud it's OK.
Try making a box for the kittens with old towels or blankets and leave it out close to them, maybe the mother will move them into it and that will keep them warmer.
You could also see whether the mother will eat. If the kittens' eyes are still closed, they're not weaned yet. The mother is leaving them to hunt so she can receive enough to eat in direct to nurse them. She won't come to you if she's wild, just depart from the food out and go back in the house.

i would take them to a humane society implicit by. first call them and state your issue.
if you have touched them or anyone else have the mother may have abandoned them becuase of the scent of human skin on them. at walmart they sell kitten milk that you mix simply like infant formula and they have small nursing bottles in duplicate section( pet section of walmart ) and you should start nursing them otherwise they may die but if you do this it will be your responsibility just resembling a child to feed every 3 hours or so for the next few weeks.
It seems like you will call for to help mama cat feed these kittens, or these babies might die -- you can get KMR and a kitten bottle from the pet store -- reconstitute the KMR as per directions-- and nurture these babies every 3 hours.
Also, while you are doing this, get in touch with a local cat rescue -- Google Cat Rescue-- and put surrounded by the name of your city/community(the shelter might kill them), and ask someone there for on the spot help.
These babies' lives are in danger -- they are so so immature and they desperately need to eat.
Also, the (make sure these populace are responsible) Cat Rescue might be able to catch mama cat and get her spayed. Mama cats can still nurse after they hold been spayed.
