Help i own a bunch of question on this stray cat??
so about 2 weeks ago i found this stray cat and took her in well at lowest possible inside the garage because my dad wont let me have her inside until she is a heathly weight and other stuff
i am wondering am i allergic to this cat ( i am not going to the doctor a moment ago to let you know so dont say that my dad wont take me )
so whether the cat rubs up against me on my face a bunch of times i get a rash but my friend's cat is equal breed (tabby) and she will rub up against my face and nothing
the rash go away pretty quickly and i only go and get it when she rubs up against my face a bunch of times not if i pet her
i am hoping she has something on her skin so i am not allergic to her
and no i hold not taken her to a vet yet because my dad wont let me until she gets a heathly freight but she is getting very close to a heathly weight
i want to give her a hip bath too plus i have to anyways before my dad will let her inside the house i own a dog already and i have shampoos for him can i use those because we already spent enough on the cat and that was adjectives things that we had to have i am not saying that money is a problem but i newly want to save a little money because i am only going to use the shampoo once
and how can i bring up to date if she is fixed or if she is pregant or not because she seems really skinny but not so much at her stomach it kinda not really much but it seem more round than like just flat and stuff it is hard to explain i am afraid she is contained by her early stage of pregancy
dont worry if she is not fixed we will gain her fixed
Thank you for good this kitty from the mean streets!!
Please take your kitty to the vet - she needs to be looked at, as a standard routine -- own her examined -- this way the vet can tell if she have any health issues. Her fur may be dirty, which could be giving you the rash -- they can give her a serene safe bath at the vet's -- they know how to do it without getting scratched-- you're better rotten letting them wash her.
The vet can examine her to see if she is pregnant -- once your kitty has a verbs bill of health, she can be spayed too-- ask the vet for a discount-- many times they will give you one.
Again, thank you for in your favour this kitty.
Take her to the vet to procure her spayed/aborted otherwise you will have an overflow of kittens that you will not be able to handle.
Answers: The allergic thing is most likely not the cat, but what the cat has gotten into. For example, when I first get my cat he stayed inside all the time. I was perfectly fine. When I go home for the summer I had to leave him external. That was when I started getting fevers and rashes. I next found out that I am allergic to ragweed, which is what my cat was most likely getting into. Needless to say, you are probably not allergic to cats; of late allergic to whatever yours got into. Give it a bath otherwise it will maintain happening.
As far as the pregnant thing; it is really hard to relay without taking it to the vet. Usually one bulge does not mean anything. You said she was underneath weight. It could just be her stomach from an erratic diet. However, I would take her to the vet to gain that checked out. You don't want her having a litter on a nice carpet somewhere in the house. A 40 dollar vet call round is a lot cheaper than a $5,000 carpet job.
yea you can use the shampoo. just dont use our shampoo alot. once is fine. Recognizing that a cat is pregnant is important to providing adequate attention for the cat mom and her babies. For kind hearted souls who take in stray animals and try to find homes for them, rash identification that a cat is pregnant can make the difference between a positive adoption experience and a cat being returned along next to her kittens. Recognizing that a cat is pregnant can be tricky, even for seasoned veterinarians and animal welfare workers. Here are some ideas to help identify if a womanly cat is pregnant.

[edit] StepsMake sure it is a female cat.
Check to see if her nipples are larger. Around daytime 21, a pregnant female's nipples will often turn bright pink. If they are, she is pregnant. If not, wait another week, and check again. Some may not turn bright pink or become enlarged, but most will.
Very gently run your mitt over the surface of her tummy to see if you feel a sort of swelling and small lumps the size of walnuts. DO NOT put too much pressure on the lumps.
When a cat becomes pregnant, her demeanor may silver. Pregnant cats become very affectionate, and not all teeth and claws.
Stand back and look at your cat's overall shape. From the side, pregnant cats frequently look a short time swayback with a slightly distended tummy. From the top looking down at the cat, a pregnant cat's tummy is frequently distended slightly more than halfway from the neck to the tail. This look have been compared to the posture of a burro. If your cat's profile has changed from normal to burro, she might be pregnant.
To distinguish pregnant from excess weight: fat cats are fat all over, including the nouns, the legs. etc. Pregnant cats are not. However, keep in mind that margarine cats can be pregnant too!
When a pregnant cat gets close to delivering her kittens, she may start nesting -- arranging blankets, towels, straw, whatever, into a safe and sound place to have her babies.
Tips
While the "burro" look is a good indicator that a female cat is pregnant, this is not other accurate. There are medical conditions that can cause a cat to retain fluid in her abdomen, which could spawn a cat look distended in the middle and swayback.
Your cat may also become very lazy and more lovable
For a regular adult male cat – you can generally convey if they are neutered by the presence or absence of their testicles.
In full-size female cats, it can be tough. There is no prefect way. Sometimes you can clip the hair on their stomach and look for a scar that could have been from a spay incision. Sometimes you can perceive the scar. There is no way to know for sure that the incision is from a spay but specifically the most logical reason a young cat would have a surgical mutilation in that location.
Another way to tell is to see whether your cat comes in heat. This isn't ideal for various owners but if they don't come in heat...in attendance are probably spayed.
To know if your really allergic to cats, you could go to your doctor, and ask to get your allergies checked. What they did to me be , scratches in my back, and later they had liquid samples of everything(they asked me question before) and, after 20 minutes, the spots that were puffed up, were the things i was allergic to. Hope this help!
Sorry the best option to seeing if you are allergic cat/s is going to a doctor. if you catch watery eyes, start sneezing or coughing then you know you are allergic to cats. You might also have asthma to animal fur. That money that you start wheezing and you have more trouble breathing around animals that shed.
I would just let it dance about the rash thing. whether it keeps happenign tho later on then the single option is go to a doctor. because you need tablets to help it stop.
