peed on my brand new couches. How do I clean them and what can I use to get the smell rotten?
Mix dampen and vinegar together and SCRUB!!

Peeing up against stuff or peeing ON stuff. There's a difference. I'll let you know that even female cats speck their territory. I should know :P My female cat went crazy and peed on virtually everything, marking walls, couches, beds, ME :P
Um.. Baking soda or vinegar is SUPPOSED to get rid of the smell, but I haven't found them to work, perhaps you might.
But on a side note check if she has a UTI.
Use a special enzyme fabric cleaner used for pet urine, and later wash normally. Make sure he/she know where the litterbox is, although it sounds like he/she is just mark their territory.

Answers: Why are you more concerned with cleaning your sofa than you are finding out what's making your cat pee on them? She's been peeing everywhere for several months yet it took her messing up your trial furniture to decide there's a problem? Wow.
She needs to be checked for UTI. Cats with UTI's normally pee in inappropriate places because they associate the pain of peeing near the box. If that's ruled out, she could be stressed about something or need to be spayed. Rescue Remedy is available at health food stores and calm anxiety in cats. It goes in their drinking marine. You really need to find out what's going on with her.
As for your sofa, clean it next to an enzyme cleaner, follow with a good scrubbing next to vinegar water, sprinkle on baking soda for a few hours and vacuum. The odor should be gone.

Just soap and hose down. Dab, don't scrub. And then go to a pet store and get some of that deodorizing stuff for pet urine. Make certain his litter is clean and accessible.
