Help beside putting on soft claws?

i want to try soft claws on my cat but she wont let me put them on , i don't want to have to get rid of her i love to so much but shes getting to aggressive beside the scratching ,,
is there anything i can give her to steady her down to get drowsy long enough to put them on?
Put over the counter sleeping pills (crushed into a fine powder) into her wet cat food. She will not plummet asleep completely, but will be temporarily drugged up enough to let you do so. Vets do this often. Per the size of the cat, you may necessitate to alter the amount you give.
I recommend that you own everything set out in front of you and all set to go. It would probably oblige if you could have someone else hold her, so you can focus on holding her paw and putting the covers on.
I also applaud you for not declawing. There are other alternatives to declawing! It's definitely not the easier solution, but it's the right one!
Answers:    we had this problem a while put money on with an over-aggressive cat, we had something recommended by the vet, it was a plug within thing like an air freshener but it didn't smell and it slowly released a soothing hormone into the air and it m ade the cat less hostile, it really worked! I don't know what it was call (still have the baby brain lol) but they do them for dogs too.

good luck =D
My cat is the same way! He's pretty aggressive with the scratch and HATES having his paws touched...I bought soft claws as well and tried to squeeze his paws before even attempting to put the soft claws on but I never got greatly far...Eventually I just gave up and returned the soft claws. I'm going to have my vet trim his nail for me. I'm going to ask my vet if there is something that she could give me to get him drowsy perhaps once a week so I can do the trimming after I see how it's done. I was also considering buying those "restraining" bags that Vet's recommend.

I'm sorry this doesn't aid much, just know you aren't alone!! I really hope you figure out something that works for u!
Try wrapping her snugly within a large, clean towel. There's also a product called a "Klaw Kontrol Bag" that's made for purely this purpose. It wraps the kitty up and lets one leg come out so you can apply the caps.

Thank you for trying vinyl claw caps! They are a humane alternative to the devastating declawing procedure.
An alternative is to clip her nails or have your vet do it. Do you own a scratching post for your cat? Also, if you have not already have her spayed, that will also calm her down. How old is she?
