Help! Our cat is DRIVING US CRAZY?

ok, i have had cats before, but never a kitten, so im hoping this is a kitten item and it will pass. Before i say anything else, we arent getting rid of her, and we do love her. That said, shes driving us nuts. She is ALWAYS in our frontage, jumping on us, scratching me up horribly, meowing non stop. and shes starting to bite, any time we go to pet her she think were playing and scratches and bites the crap outta us. So does not get any cat nip, so rule that out. What can we do to gentle her down, and keep her out of our faces and off table.

Spray bottle?

any ideas would be great!
Get another kitten so her aggressions can be directed to someone who will play with her. (Not that you're not playing near her, but it's not the way she wants you to.)
That worked for a friend of mine with precisely the same problem.
She is still young take it from me my kitten was matching its probably because she has never learnt not to attack people.
To start beside make shore you have lots of toys then when ever your kitten trys to attack you procure a toy and play with it. Along with that every time your kitten bits or scratched tap her on the snout, it doesn't hurt its just a shock, it works, spray bottles do work But in some cases they can scare the kitten To much!!.
Hope this help. And if any of this doesn't work after a while then a firm voice works to.

Good luck.
We just retrieved a cat from the shelter who is 1+ years ripened after our 19 year old cat died. We are not used to the play that a young cat wants so understand your situation. He is constantly into everything I am doing, hopping into drawer, sitting on the toilet seat to watch me brush my teeth, nowadays he almost jumped into the washer as the water be running into it. He is tiring us out before we tire him out with play. Patience is a virtue. The slap on the nose is a good suggestion as it works on our cat. Also, hold it up to your face and repeat 3 or 4 times "don't bite or scrape or whatever." and do that repeatedly until he / she gets it. Right now my cat is getting organized to jump into my lap as I type this or else unto the desk to keep watch on me. Such fun and as you say it could drive you crazy. You only have 8 or 9 more months to progress.
The only thing that stops our cats from misbehaving...at least possible at the moment...is a squirt in the face with a small hose down gun. Good luck!
Answers:    You have to play with her until she is worn out. Don't use your hand to play, use a wand with string or feathers, or use a laser pointer (we call it the lazy pointer, because it take so little effort, just don't shine it in her eyes!) Also, set up a kitty form in the window for her for outside stimulation. Just a place where on earth she can relax and look outside, putting a bird feeder outside of her window will oblige keep her entertained too. You could also buy the flexible tubes they use to vent clothes dryers, put it behind your sofa or another out of the way place, then she can explore on her own. Kittens can wear you out that is for certain!
it seems that she is begging for attention. kittens want attention 24/7 whether may help if she has another cat to play beside. My female cat had four kittens that we haven't found homes for yet and they do honest about not bothering us too bad because they have respectively other to play with and bite on. There are three of the kittens that will not bite us even if we play with them, they freshly want us to pet them but one loves to jump on her legs bite and scratch. I got my feminine when she was young and she started calming down around 4 months feeble. Be glad she's not a boy. My boy is two years old and still likes to play rough and bite and it brings blood.
Pheromones.look at the link attached.
It's what I'd do. Either that or find a way to totally wear him OUT. He doesn't know what to do with adjectives that energy and is using it up any way possible.
Try to keep him alive at all times with GOOD things to do.
Get some ping pong balls and put him surrounded by the tub with them
(dry tub)...he can wap the hell outta them and only manage to gain a few out of the tub. (Or if you are afraid the tub will get scratched...the fiberglass kind will),
later just put him in a small room with them by himself and
agree to him at them.
You need to access how he likes to play. Running him from room to room with a Laser pointer or a spine toy on a wand is good too.
