HELP!WILL MY MAINE-COON MIXES LIKE TO BE OUTSIDE IN THE WINTER?
i'm going on vacation and we were going to get self feeders and someone to come every immediately and then to fill them up and check on them. I live in strange england so winter is FREEZING and were going on vacation over christmas vaca. I just wanna know whether we need to get someone to let them out and surrounded by every day.
Would you consent to a dog outdoors on its own without a run or appropriate pen?
Of course not. So what makes you think it's OK to do matching with a cat?
Unless, of course, you want a dead cat or a diseased cat. Or a sick cat. Or a feebly injured cat.
Keep your cat indoors.
Definitely don't a short time ago leave them outside. There's too much that could wrong. If they must go out, hire a catsitter to come by and tolerate them out for a spell. Really, they should just stay inside so you'll know they're safe and warm. Check beside your local vets for good catsitters. Vet techs sometimes pet sit on the side or they may know of a good agency.
Answers: Well my Main-Coon doesn't like the outdoors at all. Especially the winter.
I used to have a maine coon kitten and it loved the out doors because it had so much fur it probably felt worthy to be in the snow! however i discouraged him being outside as much as possible contained by the winter, it is not good for kittys.
