How can I find cat fur out of my coup¨¦?
The upholstery on my car seats are dark grey and they are covered surrounded by cat fur. I assume it transfers from my clothes to my car seats but it is impossible to get it stale and the more I vacuum the more it seems to come up to the surface. Is there some kind of product I can spray on my sitting room or clothes that repels it?
If the sticky rollers don't get it, next take a large soft sponge, make it soaking showery, wring it out so it's just damp, and wipe down the upholstery. It'll often carry the stuff the sticky rollers don't.
I don't know of any repellent other than to put seat covers on and hose them periodically. The best answer I've found thus far is to get a very tightly bound closed cell sponge. Dampen it and rub it over the area. You will return with tons of hair. You may instead spritz the seat with dampen, misting it lightly and the sponge too periodically. It's amazing how well this works.
Answers: Try one of those lint rollers. I'm not sure if anything repels it but if you a short time ago lint roll it every couple of days before you get in that should hold it under control. Cheers :)
