How can i ween my kitten bad her litter tray?
shes 3 months old and has just started going out within the garden. I've tried to put kitty litter on the area in the garden that i want her to do her business contained by, but she saves them until she comes inside, and then does it in her litter tray. ive also tried moving her into the nouns i want her to use as soon as she steps into the tray, but she just runs back to her tray.

try putting dirty litter in the spot and showing it to her. Also try and put the whole litter tray out contained by the garden and show her it. Good luck.
Why do you want her to stop using the litterbox? That is weird that she won't go external, because when i take my cats out to play, the first thing they do is go to the bathroom, open-handed of like marking territory. Are you out here with her? Do you watch over here? How do you know if she is or isn't going external? Cats aren't like dogs. If you have a litterbox in the house, even whether you don't, they most likely will go to the bathroom inside. They aren't going to meow at the door or anything, they will find a dark corner or the place where on earth the litterbox used to be, and go. If you want her to go outside, and solely outside, then have her be an external cat only. Otherwise, you will save time, effort, and big messes by keeping a litterbox surrounded by the house.
