How do u head off cat food out, mine will munch through adjectives morning?
I know people that say they go absent for a weekend & they just leave the automatic cat feeder thingy but my fat cat would devour all the food in 1 day! Is my cat unusual or what?
the only way to fix that is probably getting somebody to look after it! Sorry i can't come up next to a more helpful answer...
is your cat a shelter cat?
i experienced something similar when i first got my kitten, she was incredibly skinny. my theory is that because she had to fight for food at the humane society beside all the other cats, that now when i put food out she expects to not get satisfactory again.
she got over this eventually, just by me putting it out all the time, and immediately she eats it over several days.
i also feed her science diet, which is pretty expensive, but really good for them, and so she get all the nutrients she needs.
you should still have someone check on your cat though, whether possible.
Answers: It could be the food you are feeding her does not fit her needs, you may be feeding her too much cast-offs food most dry food is junk and is too much grain NOT ENOUGH PROTEIN! Also cooked at too high a warmness and breaks down the goodness. If you slowly added a better food to hers and change to a better no grain food resembling wellness or NO GRAINS and such you will see they will eat less because they are getting all their protein and they are going to poop smaller quantity and be h healthier too! My cats pancreas broke down from eating too much JUNK dry and got diabetes its a specified fact now that is a main contributor to diabetes, this disease had cost me major money it would have be better for me and her in the long run if I knew better, I own had about 9 cats in my natural life time and this happen to her I have seen copious foods such as science diet go from caring NO FILLERS to using fillers, Iams, uses filler, grocery store dry foods use fillers.. I am thank ful I learned and presently use high protien food now and my 3 babies are healthy even my diabetic one I impart her 2 shots a day and feed her LOW CARB low fillers can and NO GRAIN DRY and her blood sugar went down over 200 points by doing newly the food change.. TRY GETTING SOME BETTER Quality food do some research on foods read whats in them to make the best outcome.. I will leave a site to review whats in the can and dry foods Really, dry food should be no or low grain and be used as a snack and nurture them canned for breaky and dinner..
