How do you hold on to a cat from spraying whether it is a womanly?

Ditto,
Have the cat spayed ... she is mark for males
If she's spraying if contained by heat, then get her spayed.

If she is spayed, consequently have her first checked out for a UTI (urinary track infection).

If she is medically ok, then its a territorial issue and you need to numeral out what she's upset about (new cat coming in the house, new dog? stray cats outside).
she requests to be fixed. or you could breed her to a male cat. females will spray when they want to breed the only thing You really should do is bring her spayed
Get her fixed. If she already IS fixed then -
There are products you can buy at the pet store that you can spray on the spot she has been spraying. It is supposed to deter her from wanting to dance there again. I've never used it, but I heard it works with some animals.
get it fixed
All responsible pet owners have their animals neutered /spayed this stops unwanted pregnancies stops unwanted attention around your home and stops cats spraying furniture.
What utter crap. Do any of you actually know what you're talking nearly? Female cats DO spray and even if they're speyed.
You must all like looking STUPID.
Ocimom is right.

and welcome to the world of " females dont spray" ,while watching her spray.

Is she spayed? She may hold a urinary or bladder infection, take her to the vet.. your vet can give you the best suggestions for your pet after ruling out any medical concerns that may be causing the rude urination.
you should probably find it fixed. Thats the only way I know of to have it stop spraying.
I would also approaching an answer to this question. We have two females that spray. We have them locked contained by cages the majority of the day. The one has stopped spraying her litter box, the other continues to spray the box and the wall. They are both spayed. The issue is realm.

I do have to wonder how someone who works in a vets department doesn't know that females cats do spray.

Well from what I know of, females don't spray!!
get her spayed asap
Get her spayed ! derr
Answers:    Females don't spray... unless it has explosive, liquidy, diarrhea.. or pisses weird. Maybe you have a masculine? Could get it neutered.
