i enjoy a black lab who kill cats how do i capture her to stop?
you have to acquire a trainer to help you. The worst thing to do is to keep her absent from cats cause if she ever get out and kill someones cat and they see it the can sue you and your dog can potentially have to get put down
Something's not right here. Labs are gentle, friendly dogs.
How is your lab getting to these cats? I hope you're not one of those people who simply leaves your dog alone in the backyard or something. If that's the case, that may be why she's acting so aggressively. Try some TLC and some training.
To keep it tied and consult a trainer
Keep her away from cats. Im not certain what else to say there really isnt another solution.
Answers: Your dog has high prey drive - she instinctively chases and kills small animals, including cats. Just because she is a lab, doesn't be set to she can't have high prey drive. I have a golden that will slaughter small animals and chase cats (though has has never harmed a cat). This is instinctive. No trainer can make her stop. You enjoy to keep her away from cats and keep her on leash external a fenced yard.
