I enjoy a 5 months mature domestic short haired cat. Her ear lobe is hot since yesterday. what might hold happen?
She loves to play with water. Whenever she plays with sea I have noticed that temperature of ear lobe go down. But again after a while it becomes the same. She is active, playful next to normal appetite. Can anyone please tell me if there's anything wrong?
Answers: shes prob in recent times overheated since heat escapes through your ears. happenes to humans sometimes too. one ear will be burning hott and the other will be room temp or even cold. she may have a fever. dont try to steal her temp with a human tool though they are inaccurate. if she is acting strangely or you are still comcerned, consult a vet
If she's playing surrounded by water, there might be a possibility of an ear infection whether the water was splashed in her ear. I'd own a vet check it out to be safe.
