I own only just taken within a stray cat. I own no concept whether it is toilet trained.?

how would i go about teaching her, and how long for a average cat would this pinch?

thanks :)
If the cat be living outside, it will be looking for a "soil" type place to go to the bathroom. Get it a cat box right away and show it where on earth you keep it. My cat was a stray (just 4 weeks) and I never had to train her, she purely knew to bury it in the cat box.
If the stray can still access outside the cat will run outside to find soil to bury its toilet business.
Start by keeping her food and litter box in like peas in a pod room (but separate from each other) - ideally you want to confine her to that room until you are sure she know how to use the litter.

If she uses the box right away, you don't have any worries.

If she goes external the box, scoop the poop and put it into the litter box. This should help it smell like her toilet so she know. You may have to leave some poop in the box when you verbs her litter for a while so that it still smells like her and she continues to use it.

Most cats like litter boxes since they make it so undemanding for them to be tidy. You will want to make sure that you keep the box deeply clean (except for maybe a poop or two) so that she doesn't start looking elsewhere in the house).
We just did that too. We put the kitten in the litter box and subsequent thing you know she knows were the litter box is.
We had markedly little trouble with two outdoor cats who had never been indoors back. They saw the box, they stepped in it, they immediately 'knew'. One wasn't sure, so I put some grass clippings and leaves on the top of the litter and he have no hesitation after that.

But as with all pets, be prepared for an quirk or two. Living with pets is a compromise.
Answers:    It won't take long, it's in cats' temperament to dig and bury their feces. Just show the animal where the litter box is. It may take a few times, but the best time to show the animal where on earth the litter box is is shortly after it has eaten.
All cats are toilet trained, they come that way. Buy a litter tray and some litter and she will use it. Or if she's allowed external, she will 'go' outside.
Hi,
get a cat tray and mix's it with soil and cat litter, it will use it because of the natrul smell of soil can after she's\he's getting more use to it you a moment ago can use cat litter.Good luck this will work!

Well done for taking a stray cat in. Thankyou...
yeah, cats are pretty much born litter trained.
Get a litter vessel and some clean litter and it will use it!
