The only method to cure it is to take your cat to the vet. Antibiotics may be needed, and you will need a prescription.
You have to take it to the vet. Otherwise the infection could spread to the other eye and the cat could step blind, and it can also easily spread to YOU. Eye infections spread rapidly.
If you think it could newly be a scratch or something, wipe the eye twice a day with hydrogen peroxide on a verbs cotton ball. be sure you wash your hand before and after handling the cat each time. Look at the eye carefully respectively day and phone the vet if you see it worsening even a little.
