I'm a hot cat dad. Her label at the shelter be Edna. Should I switch it to something post 1910 era?

Edna? Why not Mildred or Ethel? LOL

I'm thinking Eve. When I got her she was in steam, so she's already a temtress. :) (Yes, she is getting fixed today).

Change it to Irksome.. or Irky..

you know you want to!!
I love the name Edna, and she looks like she suits it, however it's entirely up to you of course. I prefer Edna to Eve.

My cat be called Misty when I got her from the shelter, but that's a totally naff name - I prefer animals to enjoy human names for some reason - and she's been renamed Stella (think posh shoes). She even answers to it occasionally.
I'm sure your cat will be relieved to have a investigational name. Pick something with two syllables the same as Edna. Cats respond more to the tone of voice than the actual christen, especially if there goodies on propose.
Go ahead. I've heard they can get used to new name. And anyway, 50% of them won't come when called anyway so what's it situation if she doesn't recognize her new heading?

Eve is a good choice for your new little vixen. Or there's the obvious Jezebel but I suppose that's even more losing than Edna.

My last cat was named Martha. I did want to renovate it but just couldn't find one that fit her better.
If the cat isn't a kitten, and go by Edna, then keep her name. She probably won't come to you whether you change her name.
At least something post WWI. lol

1. Cats dont answer to their name anyway.
2. When we bought our concluding dog from the shelter, the shelter workers told us that changing his name would actually engender for a cleaner break from his old life and make a great start of his up to date life. So, yes, go ahead and change it.
3. Gertrude is a identify.
4. Wow...Edna...yeah.
5. Eve is cute. We just got a new kitty, too and name her Ladybug.
EDNA? LOL! Sorry.
(giggle, chuckle)

When I adopted The Cat, yes he's a purebred and I have the papers to prove it and he be free... his name was Aslan. Good name, but didn't really fit and my husband couldn't remember the label and kept calling him (a)ss. So I changed it to Chauncey. That TOTALLY didn't work either. Then, to make a long story short (too late!) I name him after a leopard spotted blanket my mom made in the 70's. Leopold. They both had leopard spots. His full name is Enchanted Tails Leopold Aslan. we still only just call him (a)ss though, so it doesn't matter what you name your cat...
Eve is nice. Go beside that.
Change it to anything you want, she is never gonna answer to it ;)

I think Eve is a beautiful name! And exceedingly cool that you are getting her fixed, she will be so much happier and healthier.
Call her what you want. She's your new cat.
We renamed ours from Holly and Molly to Tilly and Tampa, and they haven't be confused or anything.
:)
Eve is a good name, unless she answers to Edna really well. Congratulations on your strange kitty! you are a wonderful, fabulous person for adopting shelter cats! I love you.
How about Mona?

You could throw an additional "a" in there for Moana when she makes love to your shoes.
Yeah I would definitely changer her name...she deserves something with a touch dignity to it LOL Congrats on the new kitty!
A female cat I adopted fourteen years ago was name "Scrabble". I changed that to Sylvie.

This summer I got a kitten named "Frazzle". His formal name is very soon Jeremiah, usually I call him Jerry.

Sometimes I'm amazed at the names shelter personnel impart to cats!
She be in heat? If you want a name that fits, do NOT label her after any of my ex-girlfriends. They were never in heat.
Eve sounds good. Or maybe something along the lines of Venus?
yes it wont do any harm i thought i have a female and named her bonnie .tuns out bonnie became bob oops.never done him any impair lol.
Answers:    How about Florence, Mabel, Hazel or Gertrude?

No. I think you should call her doesn`t matter what you want. Eve is great.
I quiet similar to Edna actually ;)
but change it to what ever you want.Eve is nice too

Gotta ask..how come the shelter rehomed her before she be fixed ?
Here in the UK that would never happen
Edna does make her sound approaching a bit of an old lady. Then again, this is coming from someone who named her cat Deborah. Hence the username!
I will shift with Lucky, she found a home that loves her enough to thinking. Good for you!
How about, Muffin? Lol, what's wrong with, Edna?
She looks like an Eve! A little saucy and bi*chy! I influence go for it, I doubt she'll care!
Your cat looks a moment ago like our new one we retrieved from the shelter, black with white chest and paw. His name there was Boots and we are keeping it, but I sometimes phone him by my last cat's name as I had that cat for 19 years. Her moniker from the shelter was Baby which I did not like and changed it to Charlie (my deceased Grandfather's name). I call her Charlie Baby until she got used to it and then dropped the baby fragment so she became Charlie (a good name for a boy or girl, I thought. I heading all my pets after my deceased relatives as a loving memory. You could name your cat Millie as "one contained by a million".
My cat get litter everywhere.?   Cyst on out-of-date kitty, will it step absent by itself?   HELP! My six week frail kitten?   My kitten keep on peeing...?
