Is in attendance any mode to find out whether a house cat is piece osolot?

Kind of a weird question I know. But, my friend has a house cat who is incredibly large (not fat, but very muscular) he's so big he's even bigger than their other pretty large cat. He also has very distinctive markings on his obverse and body. My friend was the first to point this out and now I'm quite curious. They found him when he be just a kitten so they don't know who the "Parents" were. Are there ways to find this out? Would a vet be capable of find out?
Given the natural habitat of ocelots, this is extremely unlikely if you live in North America. Sounds resembling a Bengal breed.

Sorry, to answer your question directly, they can do very expensive genetic carrying out tests for animals but in this case, not worth it.
I'd say the odds are slim its an ocelot. The Ocelot (Leopardus pardalis), also known as the Painted Leopard, McKenney's Wildcat, Jaguatirica (in Brazil) or Manigordo (in Costa Rica), is a uncultivated cat distributed over South and Central America and Mexico, but has been reported as far north as Texas and in Trinidad, surrounded by the Caribbean.

The Ocelot's appearance is similar to that of the domestic cat. Its fur resembles that of a Clouded Leopard or Jaguar and was once regarded as particularly meaningful. As a result, hundreds of thousands of Ocelots have been killed for their fur.

So unless it looks approaching something that might be worth something for its fur, it's probably not an ocelot
Answers:    Sounds like a cat of no particular breed with tabby markings. What is "distinctive" in the region of the markings? Is it more a pattern of whorls instead of stripes like this? http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=... If so that's Classic Tabby markings.

There is a breed of cat call the Ocicat but it ISN"T part Ocelot. It's a mix of several breeds plus domestic cats to give the cat a particular spotted sample. Your cat isn't just going to "find" one of these cats as they're rather expensive and not very adjectives.
