Kitten food for grown cats?

I have an 18 year old cat that is especially picky with her food. I think she is getting tired of alot of the food I give her. I bought some kitten showery cat food and she eat alot of it! I was wondering if it's ok to tolerate her eat it every once in a while.
Not really. Elderly cats are not supposed to have dignified protein. I would take her to the vet for a complete evaluation and see what food you should have for the best form.
It should be ok once in a while. At her age she probably isn't as active as a babyish cat and the calories could cause her to gain weight. also, if she have any kidney problems, she doesn't need the extra protein. Have you tried the same brand of kitten food but within adult formula? That might be a better alternative.
yes,its fine.she may be need more nutrients, which kitten food has, since she is older.
Its much higher in protein than adult/senior food, and if in that is any degree of kidney problems, such high protein levels can worsen the issue. A severely occasional treat would be okay if the kidneys are normal but a senior food would be better for her.
Yes,cats are just picky anyway but you should try to stay next to one food as a staple that it gets every day then you can include in as necessary.Find one she likes and stay beside it.At that age I think she can have whatever keep her heathy,it is along age for a cat.
Yes, you can feed it to her everyday the extra calories will do her some good.

I fed her kitten food full time she needed the extra neutrician that the kitten food give.
I also gave her canned food which was easier for her to munch through. (she really got spoiled) and I gave her acidophilus for digestion and knox geletin for connective tissue.
your old girl will second a long time
good going ... >^..^<
Yeah, it's fine. It's a bit higher contained by calories and protein, but that really isn't a big deal.
