Kitty Question- My kitten go into the Laundry Basket and is on my best shirt any idears how i can stop her ?
from going in there even though shes got loads of toys to play beside spend about lb80 on her a week
Throw a ratty blanket or towel in the dryer with the rest of the clothes and just use it to cover everything else within the basket.
And when it comes to her toys, just keep it to a plume toy and some stuffed mice along with hair ties and maybe some verbs ties and she'll be perfectly happy as long as you take the time to play next to her.
Cats seem to love being resting on freshly laundered clothes. So the only real solution is to not donate the laundry basket where she can get into it. Other than wrinkles and maybe some pet fur, I have never found any damage to my clothes, and a freshly laundered picnic basket full of clothes is a magnet for my kitties.
For cats, they have no idea how much you spend on cat toys, singular what they like at the moment. A wadded up clean coffee filter may get more deed than that pricey mouse you bought.
Put the laundry basket out of her reach or get a picnic basket with a lid...?
You could also get her a big soft blanket she can make her own.
hi , My Little Dog Has to lay on my clothes all the time so what i did was ...kept one old jersey for him to lay on and put my socks on it when i came in from work that has worked for reasonably a while now.as for 80 quid a week i dont spend that on my dog, my 2 daughters or me altogether good luck

Hi, I am a cat behavior, and here is a trick.
Get another picnic basket, and when you doing laundry, put a old but clean towel in the dryer for few minutes...
Now put this on the side.. near softener sheets... that should distract the kitten!
Buy a hamper with a closed top on it.
If you can afford to spend lb80 a week on a kitten provide her the shirt and buy a new one or two or three
get a few behind the times blankets and put them in a pile like a nest and she can make her own picnic basket of soft things and put some toys of hers in there with her picnic basket as well.
make sure the blankets are surrounded by a actually basket type thing or she will not be fooled!
You have to be smarter than the cat.put your clothes where on earth she can't get to them..it's not rocket science.
why not let her have that picnic basket and buy a new one for yourself.She must think that's her bed oh and move your new picnic basket out of sight.good luck

Answers: try find out what about going into your laundry is appealing or you could water bottle train her by spraying her near room temperature or slightly warmer water when she des something you don't similar to until she goes away or stops it try not to let her see you she should next associate theis action with unpleasentness and stop remember don't drench your cat and if this doesn't work find absent to make the laundry baske unaccseable.
