M 8 month prehistoric kitten is contained by fry the vet said?
My kitten is 8 months old, and so I came home from work and my husband said shes be acting funny. I took her to the vet, and they said that she is in heat and that everything else is fine with her. I am worried, because when I touch her stomach, she is uncomfortable, and she makes a weird meowing crash. I told the vet that stuff too.
I read on the internet that there in pain during this time... it make me feel bad. Is there anything I can do for her to be comfortable? Is this "boil cycle" like what women go through for there "monthly cycle" surrounded by a way... is that why shes in pain?
I would get her spayed so you don't have to verbs about her going into heat. They go into steam often some more than others. When my female would go into grill she would always pay my b/f more attention, it was close to she knew he was a male! LOL She is fixed in a minute and acts normal but she still does the whole butt entity, when you pet her she raises her butt in the air, I give attention to all females do this, I have a 3m old womanly and she does the same.
Yes, when an animal is in heat, it's often similar to a woman's period or basically the same. They are within pain, but it's not unbearable. You need to hang about until after the first heat, and then have her spayed. This will be polite for her, and for you as well because she and you won't have to go through this again. It's relatively an inexpensive operation -usually around $40-$50 and afterward, you don't own to worry about the blood she will produce in grill or her having babies.
This isn't normal.
My Friend has a feminine cat and she just meows and sticks her bum in ur obverse (the cat). The fact that the cat is main means that something is up.
I'd propose taking her to another vet.
ok well i have 4 womanly cats(neutered now yay!) and they have all be in heat once.
basically its the time to mate, and they do perform really weird.their hind legs sort of,..well..you know..so they can..well..you know.. and so anyways, its not scratchy, but you can minimise the pain by separating her from male cats.
reduces aching,reduces stray cats :D
Answers: Hi Naughty,
I bred cats for years and never hear that a cat in heat was within "pain" as such. What they are experiencing is a strong urge to breed with a male to have kittens. The cat within heat may be uncomfortable and sensitive, but none of the literature I have read speaks of dull pain the way you describe. Read more about estrus in the cat at the intertwine below.

This being said, intact females are prone to uterine infections. The best entry you can do is to have your cat spayed as soon as possible after she is out of this heat cycle. You can have her spayed while contained by heat but it is a riskier surgery, and is more expensive.
Once your kitten is spayed, she will no longer be at risk for ovarian cancer, uterine infections, or uterine cancer. Your cat will be happier and healthier. Talk to your vet about the best time to hold this surgery performed.
By the way, if a spayed womanly is fed the right diet and gets the right amount of exercise the chances of her fitting obese are greatly reduced. So the best way to make her comfortable is to have her spayed.
Hope this help,
