My 14 year outdated Male cat cries and moans during the hours of darkness. He is neuter, an indoor cat, and vet checked?

i love cats and kittens!
It's a form of communication as capably as letting other Cats (outside) know what is their turf and do no enter! Also this can be a sign of mating season.

My Cats do the same and they are both neutered/vet checked...It's either because its mate season and they want to go outside..OR it's because they are Hungry and want some food and attention
Answers:    Yes, I believe that animals grieve. Vets will say no, that it's anthropomorphizing them. But anyone who listens to the language of animals know they feel loss. If this cat raised the dead one from a kitten, it may be going through grief. HOWEVER; I would hold the vet do a more thorough exam of the cat. A full blood panel, including chemistries and a CBC (Complete Blood Count), a Thyroid level and possibly abdominal and thoracic x-rays. A urinalysis would be a good idea, also.
I hope you find the answers. Good luck and I'm sorry for your loss.
Mine too. Then I got up and turned the light on. He be carrying a toy in his mouth and making the most G-Dawful sounds. He was happy as could be.
Whats the question?

He may be getting lost.
Remember he's getting on a bit, his eyesight isn't as angelic as it was, and probably can't find his way round the house.

Does he have a litter tray available? He might be crying because he wants to toilet, or maybe he's hungry.
My cat keep digging up my indoor potted succulents. Any suggestions?   IS WET FOOD BETTER THAN DRY AND HOW MANY TIMES.?   I'm moving to the United Kingdom surrounded by May or June of '09, and I'm taking my cat beside me, does he enjoy to jump to..?   ¿Is this run of the mill for a mother cat to do?
