My 5 month dated kitten have blood contained by her stool?

She has eaten my older cats food up to that time (biscuits) could this be the cause? Its worrying because its not just a little bit. Does she call for medical attention?
Can't you simply telephone a Veterinarian's office or maybe a pet store for direction? I highly doubt it is from the older cat's food.
yes cart her to the vet...it could be something less serious such as worms (they are treatable) or something that needs immediate attention.

my 3 month mature kitten was passing blood and he had coccidia (it's a parasite surrounded by the stomach) it's treatable don't worry.

it's better to be safe than sorry...take her to the vet
Answers:    Kittens have a nasty habbit of eating things they shouldn;t, particularly aroudn this time of year.

My kitten once had this problem and it wasn't too serious. It was simply because he ate soemthing but it eventually passed.

If she is still voiding her bowels easily next it's probably not too bad but if it is still happening tomorrow consequently i woudl ring a vet and see if it could be anything worse.

Kittens should never eat adult cat food, EVER. Their stomachs and bile ducts are not even so fully formed and it might be the adult food, but probably not.

It might also be that she has eaten a christmas beautification.

My thought woudl be to elliminate all the possibilities before paniking but think around calling the vet tomorrow and seeing what they have to say.

And here is the YUCKY bit. They are goign to ask you to bring in a taster of her stool so get the marigolds on darling cos you are gonna hve to go through the litter tray.

Jase
Afcourse she needs. It may be internal injury. My mum have treated many cases like this and there are tons problems which could cause blood in her stool.
