My 9 week older kitten won't stop crying ?

We recently adopted two kittens when they were 7 weeks antediluvian. They are now 9 weeks old and one of them won't stop crying whenever we are in the kitchen. She consequently proceeds to climb up our legs and up to our chest. It looks like she is trying to get on the kitchen counter to get food although she have alot of her own food. This makes it hard to cook dinner or do anything in the kitchen.

Any suggestions?
If you're sure it's not a food issue, (she has her own, is eating properly, digesting properly, not sick), later it could be a simple matter of being very curious and need to be close to you. (Has she been wormed?)
Anyway, I have a cat who simply MUST know what I'm doing at the kitchen counter. He's just GOTTA KNOW! I cleared bad the top of the fridge for him and put a towel up there, so now, rather than climb my leg, he sits up top and can see everything! (I individual had to put him up there twice before he realize that it was better than being stepped on).

Good luck! Hope it helps!
You might try getting the kitten formula for her. She might have enjoyed you bottlefeeding her, but it is tough to tell if she would take to it, in a minute, or not. If she would, she would settle down quite a bit (you would need to make a larger gap in the nipple, for her and help her to understand what it in truth is). Otherwise, get the formula and give her some, either within her food or in a little bowl. Don't give her any regular milk or it will impart her diahrrea, and that is very difficult to treat. Have the babies been treated for worms? If not, you will inevitability to take them into the vet, in case they enjoy worms. This can make them very hungry. But, in the plan time, try the formula and see if that settles her down, some. Make sure they have kitten food to drink, and soften it with water for them, to put together it more palatable.
spend some time with them, play with them...
talk next to them...just love them...let her forget her past...
my two year feeble has been doing this since she was 8 months ripened. if i touch the microwave she meows.

i think it is her craving for human food, the smell of it. she would cry for things she doesn't even like.

my one year old-fashioned boy cries and licks dirty dishes as I wash them in the sink.

I muse they just like human food.
Answers:    Nine weeks prehistoric? Thats pretty young, they are really playful/attention-monsters at that age. She was used to playing like that beside her litter-mates and mom so now she just uses you as her outlet for all of that punch. Buy her lots of interactive toys that will keep her busy and entertained, so you can do your own entity sometimes! She is a kitten though so she requires alot of attention and play-time so try to squeeze that in too.
well either ur kitten has be taken from its mom to soon or its just crying. a new born baby kitten or any animal crys. its humour. maybe when it crys play with it or hold it. maybe he will seize used to u better. and when he grows up im sure it will stop crying. =]
sounds like she/he is acting like a common 9 week old kitten..
I would hold her for a while & hopefully she will have enough then provide her some milk or food.
Spend more time with her and maybe offer her a different food, wet would be best for her teeth. You could try to lock her out of the kitchen when you cook with a pet or bady gate. Hope this help! :)
Maybe they be taken away from their mom too soon.
do you feed her contained by the kitchen? she might think every time you go in in that, she is going to be fed, when you dont ,up she climbs to get you attention. if this is the overnight case try feeding her some where else, also try to block the door so she cant get into kitchen, for awhile. obedient luck
