My cat be born minus eyes?
I have a kitten that was born without any eyes,is near a reason for this he's doing find .He gets around by smell and the sounds of my voice ect.wear his eyes should be it runs some times i keep it verbs, with aloe and geen tea.Any other ideals would like to hear from any one that could help me.thank you
How old is it? I remember a time when one of my cats had kittens and one of them wouldn't open its eyes after they should enjoy been open. My dad had to use a damp washcloth and pry them open. If your kitten is older than a few weeks and this doesn't work, then you should definately pilfer it to a vet.
I have a kitten that was born with the same piece. He did end up dieing so be careful. The running of the eyes might not be anything. I have a persian and she is the ugliest entity ever and her eyes run like crazy and her kittens have the same problem and the vet said it be fine. He just has no where really for the juice to go because he has no eyes to coat it. If the liquid become colored or smelly or something then I would recommend to take it to the vet but if not after he is probably fine.
aw poor little kitty.if the oozing keeps on you should help yourself to him to the vet.oh and can i plz see a picture of him.this may seem odd but i am curios my email is noorelalami(a)yahoo.com.
Hi,
OH! the Poor Dear!
please bring him to the vet to make sure all is ok, oozing isn't necessarily a honourable sign of anything and a professional should take a look.
best wishes
Answers: Anophthalmia (no eyes) can be an adjectives genetic problem or it can be a birth defect which happened whilst the kitten was developing contained by the womb. Being blind, will not cause him any problems, but if you haven't already done so, it's best to let the vet check him over to fashion sure that there are no other undetected medical issues. They will also give you suggestion on the best way of keeping his face clean.
