My cat go to the bathroom within the tub.she have lost counterweight & keep going contained by the tub.how can i produce her stop?r=?
i have 2 cats, boy and girl and the girl cat of 4 years has started goin to the bathroom in the tub and on the bathroom carpet. i bought pet spray trying to make her stop but she wont. she also has a cat litter thats completely verbs almost all of the time. we didnt move or get a fresh litter box or anything. btw she also has lost much weight over the past few weeks idk whether it has anything to do with her bathroom issues but if it help than ok. if you have any ideas great. thankfulness
Cats do this when they hold a urinary tract infection. You should take her to a vet pronto. They can develop a urinary blockage that can be fatal. Does it look bloody at all, or smell desperate?
Yes, urinary tract infection, but the loss of substance might mean it's something else. Is she eating? If the pain of the infection have made her stop eating, fine. If she is still eating, sudden weight loss could be a sign of cancer or diabetes, basically like a human.

Sudden cargo loss is very bad--you need to get her contained by to see a vet and let them know about both these issues. If you don't, then doesn`t matter what is causing the weight loss will most likely decimate her. It could be a diabetic issue, a thyroid issue or something worse.

cats start to associate the cat box with pain when they have a urinary tract infection. she think the box is making her hurt. she will just start peeing more in the house and she will start peeing blood. vet. visit, pee try-out,...approx. 75$. the pain is awful for your kitty..she will not be able to sleep whether it gets bad enough and you will be surrounded by tears watching her suffer.take her to the vet ASAP.

85% of the time a cat starts to pee outside of the litter box it is because it has a UTI or bladder infection. These are painful. Please do lug her to see a vet right away!
Hey Jamie, I have owned cats that did impossible to tell apart thing. It means one of two things in my book. The litter box is not verbs enough or the big one is the cat is not well. I've owned several cats that would use the tub or the sink and usually the cat be not well and needed medical attention. If you can get a sample of urine and stool and bear it to the vet to have it checked out. Some times there can be traces of blood that you can't even see. She could have some sort of an infection. THIS IS exactly what happen to me! My cat peed surrounded by the shower or bathtub trying to tell me something she lost weight too, I found feed her food with fillers made her pancreas too hard to digest it, she ended up beside diabeties. I do have to give her insulin monring and night for bygone 6 years but I was stubborn when I first found out she was and didnt change her food! UGH what a silly idiot I was, since then I found her blood sugar went down from lofty 500 to high 200 blood sugar points just by changing her from her science diet, yeah they are SO BAD near carbs.. on one site there are charts of proteins and carbs so you can choose a low carb food you can afford.. PLEASE..FOOD IS IMPORTANT... DONT MAKE MY MISTAKE they need 4-10 % carbs a day from their food.. tons foods out there are 20-50 SO HIGH! NO GRAVY foods and no dry unless its no grain, again the CORE by wellness can be tollerated as snacks during the day but nurture med to high quailty cannned food for her.
