My cat have a bite on her leg. What do u feel bit her?

she was gone 4 a few days and when she came home she have like a bite on her leg we took her to the vet and they said it was probably an animal bite but i keep thinking what would bite a cat? a raccoon? what?

It's happened a few times to my male cats and it's usually due to combat with other cats.
