My cat have a swollen eye?
My cat, Elphie, has a swollen eye lid. Her third eye lids are showing in both eyes, but her not here outer eyelid is swollen shut. I left my house 4 hours ago and she was absolutely fine! What could enjoy happened to her? What can I do for her? My husband will make me get rid of her whether I have to pay a bunch of money to take her to the vet. Is here anything I can do at home?
Answers: Try bathing the eye with a cold saline solution. A level teaspoon the deep salt (if possible) dissolved in a tumbler of warm river, then cool it down.
For any living thing, their sight is extraordinarily precious. If she isn't any better in the morning, she should see a Vet. Can you arrange a payment system with him/her? Credit card?
If contained by England, the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals?
Things that happen quickly like this normally go away just as speedy. It could be a sting of some kind or a allergic reaction to a sting or bite. Watch her for the rest of the day and whether it is not better or gets worse then tomorrow see your vet. Tell your husband that it usually is not a expensive article to treat. Animal meds are most of the time cheaper than ours.
