My cat have have diarrhea since I get him-vet said cause by fungus contained by colon-any thinking how can seize rid of it?
Is it something us humans need to worry about catching. Anyone know a cure?
And why exactly didn't you ask your vet these question? I find it hard to believe he diagnosed your cat and then just sent you on your means of access without treatment.

I've never heard of a fungus contained by cats colon? They do get parasites pretty commonly though, like at pet stores or from living on streets, and those can wreak diarrhea. Some are contagious to humans.
I would take the cat to a different vet. The vet should have given you something or some idea of how to seize rid of whatever is making your cat sick. Also should have told you if it be somethign that was contagious to you. I think yr vet just is discouraging at his job, you need a different one.
Answers: Hopefully it's zilch serious but diarrhea can be really nasty and can lead to dehydration and weight loss. You may want to make another trip to the vet's. There are many causes of diarrhea contained by cats and kittens including internal parasites, overeating and bacterial infection. Sometimes the problem can be resolved simply by putting your cat on a bland diet for a few days.

Try giving him some yogurt?? Crazy thought but just might work??
