Most cats, particularly if he has been your solely cat for a while, hate being around other cats at all. My feminine cat hates male cats and female cats alike, it is freshly a cat thing.

Answers: It's hard to say. Cats all enjoy different personalities and react differently to different things.
Perhaps he is afraid of hurting the kittens, much like some adults don't
want to hold babies because they are afraid they'll drop them.
Perhaps at some point contained by his life, a female cat that had kittens view him as a threat and they got in a fight and he get injured and so is afraid of female cats with kittens.
maybe he's gay
Most likely its a gay cat that have no interest in the opposite sex. this actually happen with my cat and i was wondering the same point and asked my vet and thats what they told me. i hope i was helpful
