My cat is going to vet to acquire spayed?
It's been a long time since I have done this. My cat is to be dropped off at vet's department at 8am tomorrow morning and picked up at 8am Tuesday morning. I am bringing her in her pet carrier. With her special blanket. Is that all I inevitability to send? Will she eat while there? I am a immensely nervous cat mommy. When she gets home Tuesday will she involve any special care? I will be giving her a safe place to rest away from the engaged family. Other then that is in attendance any thing I can do or expect? Thanks
The vet will tell you everything you need to know approximately post operative care. You will only have problems whether your cat pulls at her stitches. If she does this take her back to the vet straight away.
Be sure to ask the vet about agony medication for her. Usually they will at least give them a shot of pain medication post surgery, and depending on her age they may convey her home with some pain medication. Other than trying to save her quiet for a couple of days after, and keeping any eye on her incision, it sounds as though you've got it well lower than control!

Don't verbs about food, she won't be able to eat for a while after the surgery besides and your vet will take care of her when it's time. When you pick her up she will be very positive to see you (I think they half expect that they're being departed for good, so they're very happy when mom comes to procure them). A dutiful vet will take good care of her and should pass you instructions for caring for your spayed cat. Your feline will most plausible care for herself. You might think about keeping her litter CLEAN and showing motherly charge and love. It will be returned to you many times over.

They will nurture her there - usually you only have need of to bring food if your cat has a special diet. Check about your blanket too - some vet don't even like you to leave personal items in bag they get lost or anything like that.

You might also want to bring some of your own cat food, since some cats don't like/are allergic to some kind of cat food. Don't bring a cat toy with you, they are not supposed to move around too much right after surgery.
When you bring your cat home, you don't have to lock her up within a room unless your cat is normally very active. Make certain she doesn't run around too much, which could tear the stitches. Your vet may give you some pain medication that you can dispense your cat when she seems in pain.
Most cat spaying go really well with not a lot of complications. Your biggest verbs should be your cat ripping out the stitches by running around too much, but even that doesn't happen a lot.
