My cat wishes to be spayed. I'm working on it. How can I stop or crazy behavior? ?
Oh, and her peeing everywhere, in the mean time?
I would put her in a room by herself in the mean time near a litter box (like the laundry room, bathroom, etc.) so she can't just roam free as she pleases going wherever she wants to. You can also try spraying her near water from spray bottle but that might just upset her more which will make her want to preserve peeing or spraying around your house.
There's not much you can do other than that. When cats are in heat temper takes its course and there's no stopping the peeing everywhere, spraying or the meowing unless she mates the a male cat which I'm certain you do not want.
You can try and make an appointment now for ahead of time when you get rewarded because if you wait to make an appointment next to the vet until the day you get paid, you may hold to wait another week or two and your cat can go into heat again by that time.
Good luck!
Why do you need to "work on" getting your cat spayed. You simply take it to a vet and get it done. She will after calm down and probably stop peeing everywhere as well. Added to which, you will have done the responsible entity and helped avoid even more unwanted kittens coming into the world.
Answers: My cat has be on heat 9 times since July! I can relate with the behavior problem, trust me. Basically you have to contract with it because she will keep going on heat until the mate season ends or she gets preggers. It's very stressful but I think it's a hormonal piece. Mine is very sweet when she's off heat but when she go back on- OMG I want to go Van Gogh and chop my ears off. The best entity you can really do is pay her more attention and pet her more when she gets like that. It should unemotional her down a wee bit. Good luck.
surrounded by the mean time...? you get her spayed. and scold her when she does silly stuff.
Hi I live in New York and the ASPCA spays for free and or low cost. you can go on chain at www.ASPCA. org.
ps. there's nothing that you can do until you get the spaying done, once you do that it will all stop.
Good Luck.
