My cats getting thicker fur, Is this a winter coat?

Im not sure why but my cats are growing much thicker coats im sure this is for winter but i cant be sure.

It is normal. Just like human, we entail to wear jacket in the winter, but cat can't wear jacket. They need to grow thicker coats to keep them melt in winter. You cat just prepare a warm jacket ( gooey coat) for this winter.
