My cats love cartoon?

Hi, I have two cats .. I don't know if it's only my kitty but I am a stay at home wife .. My husband put cartoons on for them and to my surprise they are glued to the t.v. .. I don't know whether it's the high pitched baby talk but I swear they construe it.. lol .. it's so funny =] Has anyone tried this before? they are soo amused ..
My cats and dog go crazy for Meerkat manor, and anything with little animals running around, the cats jump at the tv and the golden retriever cant be pulled absent, its great when i have to go out for a few hours :)

My cat didn't go for the TV much, but just for fun we bought a video at a reduction store that was for cats. It had footage of chipmunks and birds, and had birds chirping surrounded by the background, and she would run up to the TV and try to catch all the critters. It be cute :P
