My dog humped my cat...?
This is a dumb Q i know that but is it at all possible for something to come from that?
no
my female dog humps my male cat
it is to show dominance between the pair!
your dog is showing dominance over the cat
nought will become of it!!
Nope nothing, but an angry cat. Species can't cross like that and hold babies, but it can make for an irritated cat and an anxious dog. In Dog society humping is a sign of dominance and if he is aloud to do this is will only kind him do it more often. In cat societies females run the show and it might make her angry and frustrated and she might hurt your dog. Just keep them absent from each other for a while and get a water gun and spray your dog contained by the face (little gun- no super soakers) and get them both fixed to keep the behavioral problems on the DL.
no
Only a pissed sour cat. Dogs and cats can't cross breed.
Dogs try to hump everything, including pillows and furniture.
No. Look at this. If they are not surrounded by the same Family, then they can't have children:
Dog
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Mammalia
Order: Carnivora
Family: Canidae
Genus: Canis
Species: C. lupis
Cat
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Mammalia
Order: Carnivora
Family: Felidae
Genus: Felis
Species: F. catus
You may be thinking, "Then why can wolves and dogs mate?" It is because they are within the same Family. Nothing below that has to be the same.
dogs and cats can't reproduce. your dog is just showing the cat he is the boss
Answers: Nah, but it's kinda funny to think what any offspring would be close to! An aloof tail wagging little bundle of laughs fetching balls only to stash them. And what would this creature eat, cog chow?
No they can't breed together. But please get them spayed and neuter now.
Of course not! It is usually a dominance issue.
