My kitten is a 'cat dog!!' please oblige?
a few weeks ago i described my kitten on here and someone said he was a cat dog! lol anyway im just looking for sustain you see, my kitten is like a dog begs for food scavenges steals food from my babe-in-arms, meows constantly at me 4 food even tho he has a bowl full of food and water.
i dont want to get rid of him but he is starting to drive me silly! i have followed advice of not giving him scraps, etc but its broken! i think it may have something to do with is that him and his litter be strays and he was the runt, hes a lovely kitten apart from this!!

He loves you so much and requests you to just take notice of him! B4 your tot came in2 the house he was your baby and first love?(Unless you have a boyfriend!)but sometimes I think we love our pets better than boyfriends!
My cat drives me mad with adjectives his meowing 2! I keep saying to my son there's something up with our cat, it never shuts up meowing, I'm gonna help yourself to him 2 the vet.
His reply is the vet will say there's nothing wrong with the cat, but I'm not to certain about you?

lol your cat is a little fatty I have the same problem beside one of mine just try and ignore him thats what i am trying with mine. My other cat think shes a dog she growels when someone comes to the door!
If your food is on the table and your kitten tries to jump up and steal or sniff around, a spray bottle other works. If it begs for food, just show him his food bowl then shame him.
Answers: My 2 kittens were the same they be always jumping in the table.But very soon that they are 6 months old obviously if you put some chicken or something infront of them next they are boud to do something but they have grown out of the phase now and have lately learnt that they are never going to get anything that we are eating.If your kitten comes right up to your plate dont confer him or her attention (i know its mean but its gotta be done) just stand up and put him or her far awy on the floor and just save doing this it'll soon learn.I thought mine were like that its really wierd one of my kittens fetch a scrunched up bit of paperback to you if you throw it like even better than a dog i know does lol x x x
Is he genuinely hungry? Have you wormed him/her recently? even kittens need worming they achieve worms from their mother. Get him wormed and see how it goes.
If you've already given him scraps, it will be very complex to "un-learn" him of it. Please do not get rid of him because he causes you a little additional work. When you took him on, you took on the responsibility to take care of him. He's worth it.
because he is a wild (stray) cat he will probably always scavenge, we are within the same situation as you at the moment, a stray cat had kittens in our shed and we also enjoy kept the runt. It's hard work but we have crate trained our kitten like you would a dog, when we progress out or if we are eating etc she feels reasonably happy now going in her crate and also we don't enjoy to worry about her eating something she shouldn't.
It take time with animals and as long as you've got a bit of patience and alot of hope you'll find some instrument of managing.
