Need give a hand for cat.ear mites?

My cat started scratching her ears, throwing her head around, and meowing (almost screaming) last darkness. Is this ear mites? Until I get her to the vet tomorrow morning, should I use vegetable oil? Vaseline? Peroxide? I don't want to do anything to her that would burn because her ears are red and raw. Thanks for any counsel!
They have drops for cats. You can get them at walmart or even the dollar store.
Don't be putting anything from Walmart or the grocery store in her ears right not. Those things probably won't execute the mites, and may make a bad situation worse. Between now and afterwards, get a small bottle of mineral oil, and put a few drops in respectively ear. Fold the ear flap down, and gently massage it in, afterwards allow her to fling it out. It will smother the live mites, and provide her with some relief until you can get her to the vet.
Answers:    Leave her ears alone and let your vet handle the situation. Ears are very sensitive and confidently damaged. Please don't use anything that you can buy at Walmart, etc.

good luck!
If you are going to the vet tomorrow, leave them alone until then. It make diagnosis a lot easier if they can see what is going on without wade through other crap too.
Since you're going to the vet I wouldn't verbs about it.

Though if you feel you MUST do something immediately, most stores have ear mite drops you can use, and they're fairly inexpensive.

One way you can recount if she has ear mites in the first place (and I read this on the subsidise of a box of ear mite medication), is to take some of the debris out of her ear with tissue, and afterwards look for white specks to move against the darker stuff. If you see little white specks moving, it's ear mites.
