Our cat lost his gone canine a month ago. Should we be worried? ?
He is 8 years old. There is no infection, and my parents noticed this about a month ago. I sid not until they told me. We enjoy no idea how he lost it, but it may have happened as he be playing with our golden retriever puppy.

If you can answer 'No' to all five of these questions after the odds are that the cats it fine. I would advise that you give his some insubstantially boiled mince mixed with potato and carrot (it will help with the dentition and soothing process as well as to clean away any plaque that might still be present.
N.B. If you give somebody a lift him to the Vet for dental work he will have to be given a General Anesthetic (Halothane) and that will require additional blood/serum tests, adjectives of which can be quite pricey.
As long as there are no signs of infection, it's fine. My cat is missing two of her canines, one on the top and one on the bottom. The canines are used for catching prey/shredding meat, and whether he's living the pampered life of a house cat, he won't miss the one he's lost! :)
