What breed do you think he is?
Thanks
Well, when he was a kitten he looked like a Siamese mix. But, very soon he looks just like a Grey Tabby.
I think he is a Siamese X Tabby
Did you see the mother cat when you get him?
I dont think he is pure siamese.
It's a silver/grey tabby. Possibly an American or British Short-hair.
If the other looks anything like him it's not a Siamese. Far too broad and normal looking to even be a cross!
A Siamese is very comfortable recognised, it's a lot slimmer than 'normal' cats, and only has colour or markings on the go before tail and legs.
He's a beautiful cat though and Silver tabbies are one of my favourites after full blacks!
Are they the same cats? One looks like a blue lynx point kitten. The full-grown looks like a blue-silver tabby mix (shorthair).
He's NOT a silver tabby - the color is more of a blue-silver.
Im pretty sure its a Silver tabby, judging by the pattern of stripes and spots on his head and the shape of his face and nose.
he looks sort of resembling my cat and shes a silver tabby/ragdoll so. im pretty sure that's it.
hes a silver tabby 4 sure
He's most likely a tabby & siamese! He looks like a tabby, & whether his sissy looks like a simease, then he's most likely a tabby & siamese mix! That make sense, now doesn't it?
Very cute. :-)
To me he looks like a Siamese crossed with a tabby. I don't feel he's a purebred.
But he's still totally adorable. He doesn't need to be a purebred to be a great pet.
breed: american shorthair
type: tabby
color: silver/gray
A silver Tabby I am not totally sure but that is what it looks similar to.
If her fur is really soft I would read out it's a siamese. But if it might be a persian or something.
Answers: Wow, he's a handsome cat! He's a mix - a moment ago like over 97% of the cats on this planet. For those saying his breed is "Tabby" - tabby is a coat pattern NOT a breed and shows up surrounded by lots of breeds of cat as well as in cats of no particular breed. In certainty, all domestic cats are inherently tabby - meaning they all take the tabby gene.
He definitely has Siamese in his milieu which accounts for his "Lynx Point" markings. Lynx Point when the cat has blue eyes and tabby markings on the "points" instead of the Seal, Blue, etc Since the colour is a dark grey he'd be considered "Blue Lynx Point".
Very cool how he got more tabby markings as he get older - making him almost look like a tabby cat next to blue eyes which is actually genetically impossible.
Is he a friendly cat - not minding strangers handling him? If so he'd be an awesome cat to show as a Household Pet with TICA - judges would LOVE him for certain. You earn titles, points are tracked for Regional and International standings and you can win awards at the end of the season - just like the pedigree cats. He is a pretty little silver tabby. :)
He looks tabby with a little Siamese showing.
