Please! My cats particularly sick?

My cat is 14 years old. I believe she has some type of arthritis because when we took her to the vet she gave her a shot of cortisol and she be great! However she was really sick again within three days. We got prednisolone and the vet told us to endow with 5 mg twice a day every twelve hours . Im scared because right now she cant even move her boss. Would it be a stupid idea to give her a moment dose before the twelve hours?

Answers:    Prednisolone is an anti inflammatory medication. Do not give more than prescribed and do not give it more frequently.
