Pregnant "stray" cat.?

I have a cat that showed up at my doorstep one day and hasn't left since. It lives on my porch and yes I do nurture it daily. I can't let it in because I'm a short time ago about deathly allergic to cats and it doesn't like other animals and I have a dog.

I am only just about 100% sure she is pregnant. I can't have her bestow birth to kittens on my front porch because I fear they would freeze to death. It gets cold here at darkness. I was going to take her to a shelter, but then talk to several people around me that have outdoor cats. She has a bed out near and she's very well taken care of.

I really stipulation to some opinions on what I should be doing.
Take her to the shelter, the kittens will freeze, Cats are domestic creatures, they can't survive very long when they are very small surrounded by the cold.
if your very sure she pregnant u should breed a place that has blankets and put it under a table or the porch and the odds r the cat will find it and bestow birth and keeps the babys there. cats can take guardianship of them selfs very well, they have done it for years. dont verbs just give it a place that has shelter or is heat =)
Is there no low cost spay/neuter place available locally?

Or try a different vet and fashion the appointment.

Seriously, the cat population is horrible. You ought to try and rehome her (craigslist.com) or find a shelter/rescue that would take her.
whether your cat is pregnant she will not let the kittens freeze. she will find anyplace under the porch or basement etc. whether you can find her a place where you ca make her a brd and give her food and hose, any where around your house that is dark confined and safe from the weather.good luck
Answers:    This is exactly the kind of entity the humane society is for.

Unless you plan to adopt her and her kittens, including their medical care, take her in to the Humane society. They will adopt out her kittens and seize her spayed.
Vets can spay a cat up to the last two weeks of carrying kittens. Get on the phone to the vet and say she's not going to linger that long. Kittens won't survive in snow.
the best thing to do is take her to a shelter. find one that you know will not put any animals to sleep. if you cant in actuality approach her then shelters usually have traps that you can borrow. afterwards when her kittens are old enough they will get lovely homes and will be capable of spay the mum. if she is too feral then they might just put her put a bet on or find her a nice farm or something to live on where she will be well looked after.
I say that you should just let her do what she would similar to to do ... You can probably help her out by putting a box out there and maybe an frail towel/blanket. She should be fine, cats are pretty well adaptable to weather. As long as she has shelter beside the kittens they all should be fine. But once the kittens start to walk and open their eyes, lug them all (including mama) to the shelter. Or, you can just take her to the shelter in a minute but it would put alot of stress on her and the kittens so after would be the best choice. Good luck
