"murmur kitty?" womanly manx?
i have a female manx she is a 15 month old rumpy that can't meow properly ever since i get her at 6 weeks old she just makes funny little high-ranking pitched noises but most of the time she'll open her mouth but pure silence or a low whisper approaching noise i thought it might have been a trait of the manx breed but i own another female manx that is as vocal as can be & i have a very sociable older manx as well little kitty is absolutely in no pain at all i only thought it a little strange & wondered if anyone else has have a similar experience with this breed or other breeds
I have a Female manx near no tail at all.She sounds just LIKE youre cat.Theres NO Problems!! LOL! Dont worry! <3
It's normal. Just like humans, cats own different voices. My cat starts off meowing but then it purely lowers into nothing, while he is still clearly trying. I think it's cute :).

Answers: My cat has never been competent to produce a sound when she meow's. It is funny to see she opens her mouth like a meow but no nouns comes out. My vet says she is fine.
