She is pregnant and have continous sex? Isn't that odd.?
My cat is pregnant. I think she is going to have kittens in the subsequent 48 hours. She is licking down there a lot, was chewing the box I made for her, making the entrance bigger, can't sleep, but is still trying too.
I enjoy a male cat, and he can sense something is going on, which is making him meow a lot, he is licking her behind and following her. He is simply stocking her.
Sometimes she just sits there and waits for him to climb lying on her. I know they've done it 2 times now, and he is still trying. After, she goes onto her cat tower, rolls around, and cleans down there.
Does the certainty she wants sex more have anything to do with the kittens coming?
I know how unusual this question is, so please bare with me. And yes he is fixed in a minute, I had the appointment, but he 'matured' faster then expected, and I was told she be fixed when I bought her, which was obviously not true.
Please separate your cats NOW and don't let him harass her if the kittens are due. It will stress her out and could spoil the kittens.
How long ago was he neutered. Males can take up to 2 months beforehand they are "clean" and cannot get a female pregnant.
She needs to be confined to one room next to a kitten box where its quiet and less stressful. Just hold him away from her for the next few weeks while she's taking care of kittens. And seize her spayed when they are 8 weeks old.
lol, it's normal for masculine cats to do that. i would take him to an animal shelter so he can have a chance to gain another home... he will kill the kittens whenever she has them. whether you want to keep him, keep them separated, because that's the only bearing he's not going to get violent while she's nursing.
Answers: I agree with seperating your cats. I other cage/whelping box my dogs when getting ready for labor. My males go crazy because of her hormones. Animals have a greater sense of smell so he's smelling her getting organized. They should really be in two different rooms where the male can't catch to her at ALL. She might want to kill him, to insure the safety of her kittens.
try getting a pet carrier to keep your male surrounded by, and do your very best to keep them apart in the precipitate stages of birth and for a few days of the kittens early lives.
ther is an awful lot of interest contained by her bum!! Get her checked by a vet soon, You should KNOW her due date and he can palpate if a kittern is in the birth strait or even stuck. Please get her checked soon and keep the male absent til all is safe. Good luck and God Bless! A quick xray can update you how many and if their in the straight absent!
Try and seperate them until the kittens are born. It has been known for mannish cats to kill kittens too, so take great care and ask your vet for more warning! :)
You will see the behavior in feral cats. The female would approaching to get this pregnancy over with and sex will often stimulate contractions.
worthy luck!
