Should i adopt a cat ?
there is a cat who lives in my street and really loves my daughter, it is obviosuly neglected by its current owner, she never lets it within, its fur is all matted etc.
i am thinking of letting it in at night time and giving it a reheat place to sleep and putting some food and water down for it and then letting it back out contained by the morning.
It is always trying to get in our house and i enjoy witnessed its owners kicking it out.
should i do it ?!!
o yes that would be good for you and your daughter and mostly the poor wee cat good luck
I agree with the others- take the cat within. If he already trusts you and your daughter, you've passed the hardest part of taking in a stray or neglected animal. Just be aware that he may not be the most affectionate cat at first.
Good luck!
P.S. I also agree that a trip to the vets is contained by order-cats that spend a lot of time outside can pick up all kind of germs and parasites. Also, you'll want the cat to be fixed.
that cat needs you and your familial. I think it would be a good idea
yes, and the owner needs to be reported. if u take the cat within and are good to it, eventually it will stay with u and not go rear to the place where it's treated wrong. u would be doing that cat a favor so yes definitely let it surrounded by and if its owner has a problem with that, ask them whether they would like to be reported since you've witnessed mistreatment to the animal.
You sound close to a really nice person. Why don't you talk to the neighbours about adopt the cat from them. They sound like they don't want him at all
Good luck
I completely agree with Uggle. You have to cart it in and show it some love :D Sounds like the cat has found a unknown home. Brilliant and well done.
yes!
give somebody a lift the poor cat in give it the attention it needs worthy luck
technically any free roaming companion animal is a stray.
you can a) call the local animal control and have the animal picked up
b) verbalize to the owner and suggest the kitty come live with you
c) just transport the kitty in and see what happens.
Some people when face with the loss of a pet basically say oh in good health and move on. Some call around and look for the kitty.
Since I really don't know what you mean by "kicking it out" I can't really propose an option for you. If they were physically kicking the cat with their foot, next that is abuse and you could call the local ASPCA or other certified sources and deal with it that way. If they basically put it out because they were afraid it was going to wake them up, later that is something else.
If this were me, I don't believe I'd have a problem offering a kitty a thaw out place to sleep and a full meal. Cats that have it good at domestic don't abandon that home simply because of one or two (or 10) meals at someone else's domestic.
Oh poor cat :'( Go rescue and adopt the cat!
Sounds a very nice idea to me but merely be sure that you are not taking the cat away from nice owners. I know you say that they don't treat it deeply well but just be sure. It is really horrible to hold someone steal your cat, i know. But if you are sure then yes please nick it in.
Yes logically.
You'll feel good inside~~!!
Go for it !
This little one deserves somewhere warm to sleep and to be shown love
why not whether it is not being looked after
Answers: Definitely, yes!
If you decide to do this, make sure you filch it to the vets' for flea/worm treatment.
Do you think the present owners would notice or care??
If you agree on for whatever reason not to do this, call the RSPCA on these vile folks.
Thank you for restoring my faith in people lately a little :)
