What caues a cat to throwup?

very concerned
Hair ball.
A number of things can cause a cat to throw up. One is a hair orb, my cat is very furry and he gets them all the time. My mother hate it! Another cause is switching the brand of cat food. Some brands upset gentler stomachs, so you have to be careful near that. If you did switch the brand, mix a tiny bit in with his regular food and gradually switch completely over. If your cat keep throwing up and your very concerned, take him to the vet. Even if it merely happens to be a simple hair ball, it's better to be risk-free then sorry.
every like 1 month they gonna throw-up because of a hair bubble u know cats licked their furr right they arent gonna eat it they have to trow it
Usually hairballs but can also be allergic to its food. Get a laxative at the pet store. The first week give it a teaspoon 3x, then after that 1x weekly is enough. Don't dispense it to your cat along with its food.

My vet also recommended I get either Science Diet or Iams hairball remedy (the tough stuff) food. I thought my cat might be allergic to the canned food I also give it so I cut it down to 1/8th of a can once a day. So far, no vomiting and she be vomiting at least 2x a week.
Lot's of different things... whether you are so concerned, take the kitty to the vet.
Hair ball mainly but it could also be from eating grass or dead mice and birds.
Answers:    Several things can cause a cat to throw up. The most common mete out is an accumulation of fur in their stomachs from cleaning themselves. This produces a 'hairball' in which you should know how to identify clumps of fur. Cats can also throw up if they ingest something toxic, if they over-eat, or in some cases whether they are ill. Just like in humans, throwing up is the body's response to something cause trouble in the stomach.
Fur ball probably.
As well as what other people hold said, i.e. hairballs, changing cat food, over-eating, etc, I find that my cat is sick when we give her meat in jelly because she loves the jelly and eat only that and ignores the meat. I think the jelly must be unbelievably rich and makes her feel nauseous after she's eat. My friend's cat is the same.
Another reason is that sometimes they make themselves sick conscious by eating something long and indigestible like grass or strands of wool or cotton. I don't know why they do it, but if you see your cat chewing on something approaching that it might be time to follow it round with a cloth, just in overnight case.
Could my kitten hold gone into trauma? I want some suggestion.?   Do cats devour melon and whether so is it honourable for them?   These boys are not available for breeding. Sphynx Cat?   A kitten that wont stop biting me and my other kitten?
