What colors can cats see?
we've been making mice toys out of blue felt and they seem to close to that colored toy more than any other ones. Can cats see colors?
They see all the colors
from what ive heard, they cant see reds and oranges
i think they see everything within a greenish greyish tint
imagine putting a green lens over your eyes
blue probably looks the most clear to them
reds will appear grey since red is the opposite of green
blues and greens and some yellows will be more noticeable
blue?
I heard that all animals see is black and white, apart from for pigs. I don't know, something like that lol! =)
I surmise they can see reds, blues, and greens. I know they can see reds - most cats tend to like red toys better.
Good question..I hold no idea.
Answers: There has been a lot of controversy and different philosophy about this topic.
I believe that they mainly see in shades of grays, but they can see some shades of blue and green. The crucial controversy is if their spectrum of viewable colors extends to the reds and oranges.
