What do you do when your cats *** merely started fiery?
Ok so my aunt had a candle going and the cat jumped up on the table was snooping around and adjectives of a sudden his behind leg and sotra by the but started on fire.. She is ok now, but she get burned pretty bad. She still has hair on her, be she got burned. But I don't know what to do. Please help.
I would say to keep candles absent from where cats would be able to jump up to. Also, treat your cat next to care and gentle, but try playing with her too. This will hold her happy even if she is pretty burned.
Well, I will let you know what happen to me, but I think it isn't as severe. I kid you not, when me and my sister were little, she chased our cat into our furnace (yeah, the door was open) and the furnace lit, burned my cats *** and in truth burned his pipe's shut, so he could no longer use the bathroom, kinda like how they tell you if you burn your hand spread your fingers apart. Needless to say we had to put Fluffy to sleep, so you might want to have that checked out by your vet. Depending on severity logically. Good Luck!
Answers: Take her to the vet and have them look at the burned nouns. Do NOT put any medicines on it. You might call the emergency vet and see if you can put a cold washcloth on it, but I'd hold the vet take care of the wound.
You are not alone, we see this at our hospital a lot especially around the holidays.
She specifically needs to go to the vet asap. The longer you wait, the more wounded is actually being done to the skin under and around the burn. It is severely difficult for you to know just how bad that burn actually is. VERY commonly they are MUCH worse than they appear. They are also incredibly painful!
Good luck. xoxo
Personally i would put water on ur cat were she have been burnt and then straight absent tomorrow take her to the vet :)
Emergency vet - now! Could be enormously bad burns and could lose the tail. Please have your aunt take to emergency and hold the candles waaaaaay out of reach from the cat.
Take the cat to your Veterinarian's so that they can check out the severity of the burn.
If you say the hair is still on the cat where the fire be, I suspect it shouldn't be too severe.
However, if you notice blistering in the burned nouns, EMERGENCY VET! I'm very serious... the cat is probably in more pain later you can imagine and needs medicine and relieve asap.
Hope I helped! :)
