What is the best process to seize a cat?
hello adopt bye from pet shop or get it from craigslist?
Go to the Humane Society shelter and adopt one...you will be saving this cat...extraordinarily nice feeling...
Adopting from a gun down shelter should be your first choice. The cats are tested for diseases, spayed/neutered (if they're old enough), have usually have their vaccinations, and many are micro chipped. It saves you lots of money at the vet for those initial necessities and you're also abiding the life of a cat that might otherwise be euthanized. Pet shops are usually selling kitten mill kittens, a practice that should not be supported by purchasing the kittens. Craigslist is usually fine, but you'll own the expense of all the things that will have already been done whether you adopt a shelter cat.
Answers: adopt from a shelter, there's one waiting just for you!
good luck!
Never buy any pets (cats/dogs) from a pet shop. They go and get the animals from puppy/kitten mills or backyard breeders. Those kittens are taken too young from mom, not socialized, way overpriced, very poor health/breeding and you will entwine up paying a lot more in medical expenses if they survive a long time.
Shelters or other adoption places are better choices unless you want a power purebred and willing to spend time researching ethical breeders. One important thing - do not adopt a kitten underneath 10-12 weeks old. They are still nursing up to 8 weeks or so and need important social time next to mom/siblings to be well adjusted kittens physically or mentally.
adopting...back those kitties!
Even though I breed pedigree's I really muse adoption from a rescue centre is the best as you will be saving a life and you will more than predictable find the friend you are looking for.
I would go for adoption, although I'm not sure what Craigslist is so I can't really comment on it.
If you go to a welfare society to adopt a cat, they will know how to tell you all about the cat's preceding history, its likes and dislikes and whether they think it will suit your own particular lifestyle. It should come to you spayed or neuter, fully vaccinated, de-flea'd and wormed. In the UK it would also be microchipped. You will be asked to make a contribution and you might have to hold a home visit to make definitely sure that this is the right cat for you and that you are aware of how to look after it properly.
Please consider adopting - there are far too various lovely cats living in pens just waiting for you!
